Adjunct Lecturer at the School of Veterinary Science, The University of Queensland

I am passionate about using current knowledge on animal welfare to make direct improvements to animals’ lives.

I have a PhD in free range layer hen behaviour and welfare from the University of Sydney, and have worked in animal welfare for over ten years.

I am the Director of Science & Extension at Global Food Partners (Singapore) and an Adjunct Lecturer at the School of Veterinary Science, The University of Queensland (Australia). My work covers research, education, and extension, including:

🔅 Supporting Farmers: working directly with farmers to guide their transition to best practice cage-free egg production.

🔅 Research & Development: engaging with some of the top universities in the world to understand the unique opportunities & challenges in animal welfare in Asia and to develop innovative solutions and learning tools.

🔅 Education in Animal Welfare and Best Practice Farming: offering courses, organising and participating in events, and conducting in-person trainings.
