Kate has recently completed a PhD at the University of Cambridge, for which she studied green space in UK primary schools. She is interested in how greener school grounds affect children's wellbeing and connection with the natural world, and in how these spaces can be used for biodiversity conservation.
Kate previously completed an undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge and an MSc in Human Evolution & Behaviour at UCL. She has also worked for the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology, and for the Science Media Centre.
