Kate Offer

Kate is a senior lecturer at the University of Western Australia (‘UWA’) where she teaches Evidence and Torts in the Juris Doctor at the UWA Law School. She also teaches Education Law in the UWA Graduate School of Education. Her current research interests include legal education, Education Law, Torts and Evidence. She is the co-author of ‘Western Australian Evidence Law’.
Kate has an LLB and LLM from the University of Western Australia. In addition to many teaching awards at the Faculty level over 20 years of teaching, Kate has been awarded the UWA Excellence in Teaching (Contribution to Student Learning) Award as well as a Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning from the Federal Education Department’s Office of Teaching and Learning in 2015.
