Katelyn Jetelina

Adjunct Professor of Epidemiology, University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston

Dr. Katelyn Jetelina is an adjunct professor in the department of erpidemiology, human genetics, and environmental sciences at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and publisher of the "Your Local Epidemiologist" newsletter. Her research focuses on improving health access and outcomes for vulnerable populations exposed to violence, like victims of domestic and child abuse and police officers exposed to traumatic calls. In addition, she works closely with health systems to characterize multi-level factors related to health care quality outcomes, including social determinants of health.
