Katherine Gutierrez

PhD Candidate in Economics, University of New Mexico

I am a PhD candidate in public economics at the University of New Mexico, a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Health Policy Research Scholar alumna, a UNM Center for Social Policy fellow, and a Bolin Fellow at Williams College.

My research interests are in the intersection of public and health economics, including food insecurity, Latinx and LGBTQI health, federal assistance programs, policy evaluation, health outcomes, and the social determinants of health (including education).
