Kathryn Eyles is undertaking a PhD exploring the potential for beneficial relationships between people and nearby nature in urban settings. She has worked as an environmental planner and policy analyst and is a volunteer Park Carer in the ACT. She holds a BBus in Land Economics, Grad Dip in Applied Science and Masters in Environmental Law. Her PhD research will explore how nature is valued and experienced by people who live near nature reserves and, opportunities for promoting sympathetic behaviours for urban neighbours and collaboration in the management of reserves.
