Kathryn Lester

I am currently Director of the Childhood, Attachment, Play and Emotions Lab (CAPELab) and Senior Lecturer in Developmental Psyhology at the University of Sussex. Research in the CAPELab focuses on the influence of parents and peers on children’s play experiences (especially outdoor adventurous play), and their social and emotional development and wellbeing, with a particular focus on childhood anxiety.
