Kathryn MacCallum

Associate Professor of Digital Education Futures, University of Canterbury

Kathryn MacCallum is an Associate Professor of Digital Education Futures within the School of Educational Studies and Leadership at the University of Canterbury, NZ. Kathryn is also co-Director of the Digital Education Futures Lab, which focuses on examining practice, approaches and research around digital technologies which shape the future of education. As a passionate advocate for the effective use of digital technologies in education, Kathryn has been involved in a number of research projects, both in New Zealand and Internationally, focused on developing innovative approaches to the integration of technology within all sectors of education. She has authored a wide number of articles in this area as well as serves as Editor in Chief for a number of international journals focusing on education technology.
