Katijah Khoza-Shangase

Prof Katijah Khoza-Shangase is an Audiologist, Academic and a Researcher at Wits University, who has extensive teaching, research and clinical experience as well as policy and regulations development as a former Board member of the SLH Professions of the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). She has published extensively in the field of audiology, with her research niche being in preventive audiology. Over the past 15 years she has conducted research into preventive audiology within the African context, revealing the value of contextual relevance and responsiveness in what we do as healthcare providers.
