Katrien De Cocker

Senior Research Fellow, University of Southern Queensland

Dr. De Cocker is a Senior Research Fellow within the Institute for Resilient Regions (IRR) at the University of Southern Queensland. Katrien has a PhD and Master Degree in Physical Education, obtained at the Ghent University (Belgium).

Katrien her research focuses on understanding and changing health-related behaviours (physical activity and sedentary behaviour) in different age groups. Her expertise is to develop, implement and evaluate interventions in various settings, including communities and workplaces. She has a special interest in computer-tailored programs and other eHealth (electronic) and mHealth (mobile) interventions.
