Kaye is a lecturer and researcher in the School of Global, Urban and Social Studies at RMIT University.

Her work examines harmful marriage practices, and the extent to which these meet the criteria for trafficking in persons established in international law. Her research has been published in the British Journal of Politics and International Relations and the LSE Politics and Policy blog.
