Kenneth Chambaere

Kenneth Chambaere is Assistent Professor (10%), Postdoctoral Fellow of the Research Foundation - Flanders (FWO) and full-time member of the End-of-Life Care Research Group and co-lead of the group's research line 'Palliative care for people with cancer'. Kenneth is involved in various of the group's projects, including a study aimed at integrating palliative home care in patients with severe COPD (part of the INTEGRATE project) and a study to improve physician-patient communication in advanced cancer. Another of his research topics are medical end-of-life practices, such as euthanasia and palliative sedation. His postdoctoral research focuses on empirically testing slippery slope phenomena after euthanasia regulation in Belgium.
