Associate professor, Edinburgh Napier University

Kenny has been a lecturer in Economics at Edinburgh Napier University (ENU) since 2005 having previously lectured at Anglia Ruskin University. Kenny specialises in teaching Business Economics and currently manages ENU’s MSc in Business and management (Singapore). He has acted as external examiner for a number of Universities both in the UK and overseas and reviews journal articles and books for a number of publishers.

Kenny has developed and ran a number of external development courses with a range of partners including the Economic Development Association Scotland, Institute of Charted Accounts for Scotland and the Institute of Chartered Treasurers.

Kenny has published research in a number of journals including (European Journal of Operational Research, Managerial and Decision Economics, Corporate Governance, Local Economy and Interdisciplinary Journal of Economics and law). Whilst an economist, Kenny’s research is often multi-disciplinary in its focus. Currently he is leading a project to help SMEs engage with the United Nations Development Goals.
