Professor of Employment and Industry, School of Business and Law, Edith Cowan University

Kerry Brown is the Professor of Employment and Industry in the School of Business and Law at Edith Cowan University. She is a Program Leader for the Governance and Organisational Planning Program of the Asset Institute and Director of the Centre for Innovative Practice at ECU. She is an invited external Affiliate Professor with international Business School, ESCP Europe based in Madrid.

Professor Brown is a founding Executive Board Member of the International Research Society for Public Management (IRSPM) (2006-2012) and Executive Board Member and Founding Fellow of the International Society for Engineering Asset Management (ISEAM) since 2007. She is an Australia and New Zealand Academy of Management (ANZAM) Research Fellow (2009-2018) and Board member of ANZAM. She has published extensively with 5 books, numerous book chapters and over 90 journal articles. She has been awarded 9 Australian Research Council Linkage Grants and many industry research grants. Professor Brown specialises in change management; collaboration, networks and business clusters; capability, strategy, management and policy for infrastructure and asset management; public management and policy; government-business-community relations; negotiation and employment relations.
