Kevin Boreham taught at the ANU College of Law from 2002-2017, convening International Law of Human Rights and lecturing in International Law. Following his retirement from full time teaching Kevin now convenes the newly-established ANU International Law Clinical Program.
Kevin practised as a solicitor in private practice in Canberra from 1999-2001.
Kevin’s first career was as an officer of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. He served in Australia’s diplomatic missions in Colombo, Hanoi, Manila, Tehran and New York, where he was Australian Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations from 1987-9. Kevin’s work in Canberra specialised in multilateral and regional issues. Among other appointments, Kevin was head of South and South East Asia Branch from 1990-1992 and International Organisations Branch from 1992-94.
