I’m the editor of idrottsforum.org [sports forum], a non-refereed English language open access sport studies web journal, now in its twenty-first year. We publish scientific and popular science articles on sport studies and sport science research, primarily within social science and the humanities. The journal also publishes book reviews of Nordic and international literature in a wider sense associated with sport studies and sport science research. Emphasis is placed on the mutual interaction between sport and society. Additionelly, we publicize new issues of 100+ scholarly journals within sport studies and, to some extent, sport science, as well as upcoming conferences, seminars, workshops etc. within the social and cultural study of sport.
