I work on ending the burning of fossil fuels in time to maintain reasonable climate stability on our home planet, through the Leave it in the Ground Initiative (LINGO).
I have previous degrees in anthropology, psychology, education and Chinese studies.
My PhD is concerned with understanding the few cases where oil, gas and coal have stayed in the ground.
Some of the research has included quantifying emissions impacts of the Keep it in the Ground (KING) movement, identifying carbon bombs (key fossil fuel projects) globally, understanding successful resistance against fracking in Mexico.
