Associate Professor, Curtin University

Kok-Sing Tang is an Associate Professor at the School of Education and the Discipline Lead of the STEM Education Research Group at Curtin University.

He received a BA and MSc in Physics from the University of Cambridge and a MA and PhD in Education from the University of Michigan.

His research examines the role of language, discourse and representations in supporting scientific literacy.

He is a founding leader of the SIG Languages & Literacies in Science Education which was set up within the European Science Education Research Association (ESERA).

He is the author of the book "Discourse Strategies for Science Teaching & Learning: Research & Teaching" published with Routledge.
