In the Nolin lab, we utilize data analytical tools to determine trends in the origin, structure and expression of biologically-active natural products, chemical compounds made by plants, animals, fungi, and bacterial. As a number of these compounds have been shown to have medicinal properties, we are working to streamline the discovery process.
