Professor Kurt Barling is Professor of Journalism (Practice) at Middlesex University London.

Kurt is a broadcaster, working at the BBC for 25 years, including as Special Correspondent for London. Prior to his journalistic career, he was a Lecturer in International Relations at the London School of Economics.

His four most recent books are Darkness over Germany (Ed.), Arcadia Books, London (2017); The R Word: Racism, Biteback Publishing, London (2015); Finsternis in Deutschland (Ed.), Elisabeth Sandmann Verlag, Munich (2016) and Abu Hamza: Guilty, Redshank Books, London (2014).
