I have recently submitted my PhD thesis 'Combining Self-assembling Peptides and Proteins for use as Templates for Nanoscale Devices.' which I completed at the University of Auckland. I am currently awaiting my defence.

Alongside my academic and policy advice work, I run a startup called Litmaps. This is focused on building a graphical user interface for science. The product we are developing makes use of both machine learning and natural language processing techniques. I also mentor and advise international genetically engineered machine (iGEM) teams.
