Laura D'Olimpio

Dr Laura D’Olimpio is a Senior Lecturer in Philosophy of Education at the University of Birmingham and co-editor of the open access 'Journal of Philosophy in Schools'. Laura is a regular contributor to The Conversation; The Ethics Centre; and ABC’s Religion & Ethics website as well as ABC Radio National’s 'Philosopher’s Zone' and 'The Minefield'. Laura’s first book, "Media and Moral Education: a philosophy of critical engagement" (London, Routledge, 2018) won the 2018 Philosophy of Education Society of Australasia’s annual book prize. Her next book, "On the Necessity of Aesthetic Education", is forthcoming with Bloomsbury.
