Laura Lamb

Professor of Economics, Thompson Rivers University

Dr. Laura Lamb joined Thompson Rivers University in 2006 and currently holds the position of professor and chair in the Department of Economics. She has over 20 publications in refereed journals and book chapters mainly in the areas of community economic development, public policy, financial exclusion, and environmental economics. Laura has presented her research at over 20 international conferences and supervised over 20 students in the School of Business and Economics’ graduate programs. Laura teaches such courses as sustainable community economic development, principles of microeconomics, intermediate macroeconomics, local economic development, and environmental policy and regulation for sustainable management.
