Laura is a researcher and postgraduate research student at RMIT University. Her current research interests in gender studies, consumer culture, digital representations, and feminist theory.
She has worked on projects for The Therapeutic Goods Administration, the Consumer Action Law Centre, the Australian Communications Consumer Action Network (ACCAN) and consulted with Deakin's School of Psychology on behavioural change and health promotion in preconception and pregnancy.
Laura has presented her research at the Academy of Marketing 2017 Conference. She also has a forthcoming publication in Leisure Sciences journal.
