My PhD is in Biomedical Engineering and my specialisation is in biomaterials and tissue engineering. I was Dean of Graduate Research between 2010 and 2018 and Pro Vice-Chancellor Research Training from 2012 to 2018 at UNSW Sydney. In these roles I had responsibility for strategy and policy relating to graduate research, early career researchers and researcher development. I also had executive responsibility for the Graduate Research School and the Researcher Development Unit. My current role is as Professor in the Graduate School of Biomedical Engineering at UNSW.
