Laura Rademaker is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Australian National University and author of 'Found in Translation; Many Meanings on a North Australian Mission' (2018). She was awarded her PhD in 2015 from the Australian National University for her thesis on the history of Aboriginal languages and Christian missions. Her research looks at histories of race and gender in Australia, particularly Christian missions and Aboriginal people. She is currently part of the Rediscovering the Deep Human Past Laureate project, researching Australia's deep history.
