My work focus on understanding the dynamics of industrial tropical tuna fishing, and giving scientific advice for a sustainable harvest of these resources. Since I joined the Pacific Community (SPC), I have specialized on issues related to the use of drifting Fish Aggregating Devices (FADs) using fishing data provided by fishers and scientific observers; a regional FAD tracking program; and simulations.
