Laurie Johnson is Associate Professor of English and Cultural Studies at the University of Southern Queensland. He is current Vice-President of the Australian and New Zealand Shakespeare Association, a member of the executive of the Australian Universities' Languages and Literatures Association, and a member of the editorial board of the journal, Shakespeare. He is a recipient of the Australian Learning and Teaching Council Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning, and has published more than 30 books, chapters, and journal articles in cultural and literary studies.
