The US justice system is based on the English system, yet there are big differences when it comes to the way that the United States handles several current law enforcement problems, including hate crime and handguns. My research looks at Great Britain’s approach to the handling of bias crime and their emphasis on civility. Additionally, I explore the difference in violent crime in countries, such as England, Scotland, and Ireland, where most citizens and police officers do not carry guns.
