Lawrence Abeln

Professor Lawrence S. Abeln is the Dean of the Business School at The University of Adelaide.

Previously he served as the Deputy Dean of the Business School at The University of Cambridge and the Director of the MBA Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He was also Associate Dean at Georgetown University in Washington DC where he was responsible for both the MBA and Executive MBA.

Professor Abeln is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and holds a Masters in International Relations and PhD in Management from Cambridge University in the UK, where he was a Rotary Foundation Scholar. He is a Visiting Scholar at the MIT Center for Collective Intelligence.
