My research focuses on the politics of Syria's uprising and US foreign policy in the Arab world. Since fall 2013, I have taught at Qatar University's Department of International Affairs. My book US Hard Power in the Arab World: Resistance, the Syrian Uprising, and the War on Terror (Routledge) is set to be published in Sept. 2016.
