Leanne Melbourne

Leanne is in her second year of her PhD studies at the University of Bristol where she is researching the effects of climate change on calcifying seaweed around the UK, with a keen interest in how the last 100 years of environmental change has affected their skeletal structural integrity. Leanne is interested in the interface between policy and scientific research and particularly the effective ways in which researchers can publicise their research to policy professionals.
Leanne holds an Msci in Chemistry from the University of Bristol.
She undertook a NERC-funded policy internship working with both CSaP and the partnership for Conflict, Crime and Security Research (PaCCS) in 2015.
