Leona Vaughn, PhD

Research Fellow, Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Liverpool

I am a Derby Fellow at University of Liverpool, with a longstanding background in equality and human rights.
My interests are in anti-colonial research practices, especially for enquiring into 'risk' policies and slavery and unfree labour, to improve the involvement of and impact upon minoritised groups.
I recently led vulnerable populations research at UN University Centre for policy research on the finance sector and modern slavery.
