Lecturer in Economic Geography (T&S), Newcastle University

Liam is a Lecturer in Economic Geography (T&S) at Newcastle University. He completed his PhD in 2017 on ‘Financialization, the brewing industry, and the changing role of the pub in Britain and Germany’. His research interests include financialization, political economy, and local and regional development. Empirical focus has so far centred on the brewing and pub industries, with emergent interests in green finance and development in the global South.
