Lilith Zecherle researches applied conservation biology. She uses population genetics and behavioural and spatial ecology to investigate population dynamics and inform conservation management. During her PhD, she has investigated subspecies hybridisation and landscape genetic effects in a reintroduced population of Asiatic wild ass.

Currently, she is working on designing genomic tools for non-invasive sampling of the population to investigate the species’ complex social system.
