I am an applied ecologist interested in using Big Data analytics to answer questions on large-scale assessments of biodiversity. My desire to link conceptual science with real-world environmental and socio-economic issues to inform strategic priorities. Currently, I am a Ph.D. student due to graduate end of 2022/early 2023, and an Associate Researcher on the Global Amphibian Biodiversity Project. I have authored/coauthored 10 research articles, with 3 published in leading science journals. I have won highly competitive funding awards earning £13,000 to date.
I have developing expertise in spatial & species distribution modelling using Geographic Information Systems software, statistical analyses in R & Python, building predictive regression models using Artifical Intelligence/Machine Learning Neural Networks, basic knowledge of other coding languages SQL, and application to environmental economics and sustainble development.
