Lisa is a Registered Architect in Queensland and a PhD Candidate at the University of Queensland. For her PhD, Lisa is researching Queensland’s post-war Church Building Designs. This research will build on the research she did for her 2000 undergraduate thesis - Responses in Ecclesiology; Examples of Brisbane Church Building Design in the 1960s. After graduating from University of Queensland in 2000, Lisa worked for Project Services (Public Works Department), obtained registration as an architect in Queensland late 2002, before moving to Riddel Architecture in 2006 and later on to Conrad Gargett Riddel in 2012, when the two companies merged (now Conrad Gargett). Lisa possesses extensive experience in projects ranging in scale, complexity and functionality, and has received awards for a number of her projects - public, aged care, heritage adaptive re-use and residential.
