Llion completed his Undergraduate and Masters degrees in Sport Science and Sport Physiology, respectively, at Liverpool John Moores University, UK. He subsequently completed his PhD through The University of Queensland, as a Research Scholar at The Queensland Academy of Sport, investigating the acute and chronic cellular, molecular and physiological responses to post-exercise cold water immersion. Llion's passion is in understanding the mechanisms underpinning muscular adaptation to exercise, and how these processes can be optimised to promote adaptation in athletic and pathophysiological populations.
