Lone Sorensen

My current research is on online controversies about climate policy, looking at how citizens contest politicians' claims about climate change (as well as each others') and the role of social media in these disagreements. Related to this, I am working on a project on polarisation over climate change issues. This is tied to past research on populist politicians and their performances of authenticity, especially online.
