Lorenzo grew up in Italy, lived in Hong Kong and Canada. After graduation, he worked for a marketing research agency assisting multinational FMCG clients. Excited about consumer behaviour and academic research he completed his Master of Philosophy at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Toronto. His research interests include how technology influences cognition, how we choose to allocate cognitive effort, and metacognition.
