I've been working in Artificial Intelligence for over 20 years, first looking at Automated Theorem Proving and more recently performing research in the development of Autonomous Systems (such as Robots, Driverless Cars and Unmanned Aircraft) and, in particular, how to develop them in ways that allow us to guarantee that they are safe and behave ethically.
