Louise Moana Kolff

Lecturer, UNSW

I hold a PhD in Graphic Design Culture from the UNSW Art & Design. My thesis focused on taboos in graphic design, specifically in relation to Australian HIV/AIDS prevention campaigns.

I am interested in examining ways in which our visual world impacts and is impacted by politics, media, history and our cultural imagination. My area of interest is particularly focused on controversial visual representations.

I currently teach information graphics, and graphics in contemporary society at UNSW, and visual communication at SCU.
