Louise Moana Kolff

Lecturer, UNSW

I hold a PhD in Graphic Design Culture from the UNSW Art & Design. My thesis focused on taboos in graphic design, specifically in relation to Australian HIV prevention campaigns.

I am interested in examining how our visual world impacts and is impacted by politics, media, history and our cultural imagination. My area of interest is particularly focused on controversial visual representations.

I currently teach information graphics at UNSW, and visual communication at SCU.
