Early career researcher, Curtin University

Dr Lucas Marie is an early career researcher whose work explores the tensions between globalisation and localisation, processes of social action and exchange, and the culturally specific and contested nature of authenticity. He is particularly interested in the productions, expressions and consumptions of popular dance practices, as well as the use of new information and communication technologies.
