Lucy Baxter

I'm a lecturer in film practice at Queen's University Belfast and an experienced creative producer and director in film, TV and digital. My research is across creative enterprise, creative producing in documentary and fiction, Irish cross border co-production and the applications of digital content and Virtual Reality film in mental health, particularly trauma in relation to emotional abuse.

My book Running a Creative Company in the Digital Age was published in 2017. I previously ran London based production company Mandrake Films and have recently set up Belfast based Darkley Films and charity Mental Abuse Matters.
