Lucy O'Sullivan is Assistant Professor in Modern Languages at the University of Birmingham, UK. Her current research explores the role of images in Mexico's religiously motivated conflicts of the 1920s and '30s, with a particular focus on photography. She joined the University of Birmingham in 2019 after holding posts at the University of Oxford and the University of Warwick. She obtained her DPhil in Modern Languages from the University of Oxford in 2018.
