Lucy Sorensen is an Assistant Professor in Public Administration and Policy at University at Albany, SUNY. She uses applied econometrics to investigate questions related to education policy, human development, and social inequality. Her research has been funded by the National Institute of Justice, Russell Sage Foundation, and William T. Grant Foundation. Prior to joining University at Albany, Sorensen received her PhD in Public Policy and MA in Economics from Duke University.
