Lucy Strang is a PhD candidate at the University of Melbourne studying neutron star physics and a member of the ARC Centre for Excellence in Gravitational Wave Discovery (OzGrav). Her research interests include cataclysmic astrophysical phenomena, including short Gamma-Ray Bursts, and searching for gravitational waves.

Before her PhD, Lucy worked as an IT consultant before returning to science to follow her passions.
