Molecular Geneticist, Professor Lyn Griffiths, has been studying the genes involved in common human disorders for nearly two decades with her Genomics Research Centre laboratory undertaking studies on migraine, several types of cancer, MS and CVD. She held the role of Dean Research 2007-2012 and since 2007 has also been Director of the Griffith Health Institute and Molecular Basis of Disease program.
