Lyndsay Duthie is a TV Executive Producer, Academic and Author. She has worked as a TV Executive Producer with credits for ITV, BBC, C4, C5 and SKY - specialising in producing factual entertainment formats with 20 years experience. Lyndsay’s career began at ITV originating and producing hit programmes from talk shows through to documentaries set on death row. Lyndsay then founded her own company, Ice Blue Media. She has also served on the Board of Directors for Women in Film and TV (WFTV) and is a speaker/judge at events such as Royal Television Society, International Emmys and Sheffield DocFest. In 2013 Lyndsay took up post to head up the University of Hertfordshire’s Film and TV Programme and led the course to their first success at the Royal Television Society Awards as winners of the best drama. Lyndsay then went on to win the Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching and Graduate Success for 3 consecutive years. Lyndsay has presented her research at international conferences and is co-author of The TV Studio Production Handbook due published by I.B Tauris in 2016.
