Masters Student in Applied Mathematics, Toronto Metropolitan University

My name is Lyndsay Roach. I completed my undergraduate degree at Concordia University with a double major in Mathematics and Political Science. After moving to Toronto, I did a certificate in Data Analytics at Ryerson University and I am currently in the final stages of my masters degree in Applied Mathematics, also at Ryerson University.

The research for my masters thesis is in complex networks, under the supervision of Dr. Anthony Bonato. I studied the process of visualizing large real-world networks; namely, how visualizations reveal hidden community structures. Once completed, I will be entering the doctoral program in Statistics at York University.
